Scottish Friends of P(uk) started up in April 2007 after a focus group consisting of interested P(uk) members met with Mrs Davina Whiteman, Chair of P(uk) to discuss the development of P(uk) in Scotland. From the issues raised at the focus group the following items became the primary objectives of the group -
To raise the profile and attract more interest in the aims and ambitions of the Association.
Provide a wider variety of P(uk) qualifiers in Scotland for all interested parties.
To make the Association more appealing to new members.
Provide a range of social events to bring together the entire Scottish Equestrian community.
To be the link between the Scottish competitors and the main board of Ponies Association (uk).
